The Engage Model demands definition, as it is very different from today’s typical industry practices. Our model places control of the project back in the hands of the Owner Group, deviating from the EPC/EPCM model where the Owner is a passive observer. The foundations of our model can be found in our “Four Pillars of Success”: Safety, Quality, Cost, and Schedule. Engage is involved in your project from constructability analysis through to completion/start-up.
By means of a pro-active, integrated management style, Engage focuses on safety, quality, cost and scheduling metrics defined by the Owners Group while stewarding daily site operations and managing contractor indirects and direct field labour. This allows Engage to make any required changes to direct field labour allocation and order of execution as is best suited for the project’s successful conclusion.
Through our combined past experience, we saw too many projects being mismanaged, resulting in cost overruns and schedule delays. Our approach to projects stems from our tag line “what gets measured, gets attention” and as such key items are continuously measured and consequently properly managed. Engage firmly believes in employing only the best in the industry, focusing on those who have both trade and executive leadership experience to foster a culture of accountability.
By executing projects with these “Four Pillars,” in conjunction with Engage’s “Agent” model (providing Owners with full Construction Management Team services at zero mark up on direct field labour suppliers), we have created a baseline of core clients and trade bench strength that is leading the industry in effective project completions ahead of schedule and under budget, putting the projects back in the hands of the Owners Group.
